The world moves in a balance,
Duality for every heart and soul.
Back to back in tide of war,
From blood of inner blue to outer red.
Side by side in defending home,
From golden daybreak to silver nightfall.
Face to face when all is still,
From the one in white to the one in black.
I know my voice will fail me,
So I write these words in reserving hope.
I do not fear for my life,
Only whom I care for more than myself.
So behind the jasmine veil,
I pray for the dawn that can bless us both.
And yearn for this fight to end,
So that we can walk together once more.
